The always popular Bullpen ERA Tracking thread

2-1 win a rousing comeback home win. So obviously all is well and feel good and that.
However, we've played 3 games, and the bullpen has already managed to cock up, or nearly cock up, 2 of them
So this thread is specifically for tracking the combined ERA of the bullpen and all the right handed journeyman in it. Let's see if they can somehow keep it under 6.00.
So far:
7.87 ERA

Additionally, they are currently 1 for 3 in save opportunities, the one going to Al Reyes, who was called upon to close vs the Yankees and whom did so pretty comfortably.
So yeah, that'll be fun to watch capitulate.
Still waiting for the first sighting of the immortal Gary Glover.

The bullpen is like a bottle of nitro.....you just don't know when it's going to blow up.
Good job last night though.....and the era comes down a bunch too.
Good thread.

Relivers who haven't proven themselves to be steaming piles of garbage:
Reyes
Stokes
Ryu
Glover
That's the list, but hey, there's still time for them to suck ass as well.

With Casey Fossum last night doing the patented Casey Fossum blow up (hang on, does it count as a blow up if he gets out of the third inning?), the bullpen had ro sutle up 5 and two thirds innings last night. They did.....well, for a change.
Cleveland's very own Gary Glover threw 2 and a third scoreless innings of fairly wild breaking balls. Juan Salas threw pretty wildly and was clearly favouring some injury, putting two men out but getting two out. Shawn Camp pitched well and got him out of it. Then Lugo sucked and gave up a run. But all in all, they gave up only 1.
That lowers the bullpen ERA somewhat to 5.40. Which is, um, yay?
Although it doesn't really help given that the team ERA is the majors worst, by a long way, at 7.20.

God, I remember when a team ERA of 4.50 was horrible.
Of course that's going back a while.

Oh sod it, I can't be bothered with the maths after tonight. Let's just say it's somewhere near 47.

Lugo's ERA at 22.5!
Camp at a miniscule 15.00!

We're apparently looking at Brad Lidge.
Guzman for Lidge + Cantu for Capellan = me, happy
Lidge is a risk but I'd take a chance, maybe a change of scenery would help him.

Lidge would be awesome. If you add Lidge and Capellan there is no way you don't finish in at least third.

I think a change of scenery would help Brad Lidge no end. He can still throw. It's just....he sorta broke. He's probably reminded of it every day, whether he realises it or not.
