Orioles @ Devil Rays: 3 Game Series (4/16-4/18)

Post#1 » by TheCage4 » Mon Apr 16, 2007 12:15 am

Game 1, Monday 4/16, 7:10pm EST
Probable Starters:
TB- Shields (1-0, 4.61 ERA)
BAL- Loewen (1-0, 1.80 ERA)

Scouting Report: This kid Loewen looks legit. So far he's faced the Yankees & Tigers & has come out with a 1.80 ERA. That's impressive. He can be erractic however, bowing out both of his previous starts after only the 5th inning because of his pitch count.

Game 2, Tuesday 4/17, 7:10pm EST
Probable Starters:
TB- Fossum (0-1, 7.59 ERA)
BAL- Trachsel (0-0, 2.63 ERA)

Scouting Report: Trachsel is tough to watch due to his slow delivery & it appears he's just as tough to hit so far this season. A big positive for us though is for his career Trachsel is 0-2 with a 4.15 ERA against Tampa Bay.

Game 3, Wednesday 4/18, 3:10pm EST
Probable Starters:
TB- TBD (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
BAL- Bedard (2-1, 5.09 ERA)

Scouting Report: Unlike Loewen, Bedard has had a rough start. Run support has enabled him to notch 2 wins out of 3 starts, but he has allowed 10 runs in 17 IP so far this season.

Wow Baldelli has 2 BB so far this game. Hopefully Maddon takes note of how well Harris is hitting & shows Zobrist the bench. Sheilds is having another solid outing.

A disappointing series after coming off the Twins split

Time for all to step up, especially the BP.

Get to .500, and stay there for a while.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability
