Isn't it about time that the local's begin filling the Trop?

Last night the attendance was 16,000. That's better, but it's still far off from what it should be.

This team is offensively dynamic and entertaining. The pitching is coming around. The team is becoming a good product.

Free parking, bring your own snacks in, sit basically wherever you want upstairs......it's a bargain in todays sports environment.

Anyone going to Disney to see the Rays play outside? I'll be at the wed game, and for those that have never been in that park.......it is tiny, you will be close to the action.

Don't look at me, I've been to 7 games so far this year, including last night. I'm not going to Orlando though, too far a drive.

I live in Orlando, and feel the same way about ST Pete.......we go to just 3-4 games a year (usually sundays)....but would go to at least 10 or more if the Rays were in Tampa.

Damn.

I hope they keep coming to O'town, the environment will be very intimate. But I also know that once the Rays start winning more, the O'town visits will end too.

St. Pete is nice and convienient for me, coming from Sarasota. Tampa would be more of a challenge, and I wouldn't go to nearly as many games. Getiing around Tampa sucks.
