Team ERA now stands at 5.53

After nearly 100 games, the Rays staff has a combined ERA of 5.98

The bullpen has an ERA of 6.65.

Teams are batting an astounding .298 against the Rays pitchers.

The pitching staff has a WHIP of 1.62.

These are arcade like statistics.

Team ERA climbs to 6.02.

I wasn't sure that was possible this late in the season.

Team ERA is down to 5.99.

The Rangers are the target at 5.00.

After the 3-1 loss to the Birds, ERA is down to 5.88.

ERA is now 5.89 after the 11-3 loss.

Next in line......Texas at 5.01.

Team ERA is now 5.80 after Edwin Jackson's 4 hit complete game shutout.

Great performance.

Other notes:

Season WHIP stands at 1.59

Opponents avg .294.

Almost impossible to believe those #'s this late in the season.

Agreed.

You'd think the Sox would relish the next few series with the Rays, but something tells me that it's not gonna be so easy for them.

The Rays bats have come alive as have the starters, now it's up to the new bullpen to deliver.

Should be fun to watch.

ERA rose to 5.76 after the 8-1 loss last night to Cleveland.

WHIP holds at 1.59

Opps Avg is still .294

Rays record is now 46-76.

Rays would have to finish 24-16 to end at 70 W's.

Ouch.

WHIP stays at 1.59

OPPS AVG is down to .293

That's before the Red Sox shellacking currently going on. Sox up 7-2 in the 5th.

Team ERA is down to 5.70 as of 8/22.

Starters ERA is 5.40, Bullpen is 6.23.

Hammel figures to increase those #'s tonight based on the wy he's been pitching.

His last 4 starts ........IP-16, H-28, ER-16 .

Team ERA down to 5.70

WHIP down to 1.58

Opps Avg down to .293

ERA is now 5.68 after today's loss to the Chisox.

Jackson gives up 3 - 7th inning solo dingers, Wheeler comes in and gives up another 2 run 7th inning blast as the Rays lose 5-4.

WHIP stands at 1.58

Opps Avg is at .294.
