Where will Wiggy go?

Post#1 » by TheCage4 » Fri Jul 27, 2007 1:07 am

The Yanks, Red Sox, Twins, Padres & Cubs are said to be interested in Wigginton.

It's reported that we want Proctor from NY, who should we ask for from the other teams interested?

Any damn pitcher capable of throwing a single scoreless inning two nights in a row.

Out of the teams listed here are the guys that I'd like...

Red Sox: Kyle Snyder

Cubs: Michael Wuertz

...I don't think the Padres will deal any pitching, seeing how they just moved Linebrink to Milwaukee. Minnesota doesn't look to have any MLB pitching that Wigginton alone could fetch in return.

Wiggy is a good guy, and will be missed.

Good trade though. Wiggy was probably gone this offseason and Hunsicker has a relationship with Wheeler from their days at Houston.

That being said, rumors have Wheeler being shipped to Seattle today instead of Reyes.

So far, nothing on the wire....and it's getting late.

Personally, I'd like Wheeler to stick around.....so I hope that rumor isn't true.
