Name and uniform change on 11/8

These are artists renditions that "supposedly escaped" secrecy.

Gone is the green, in is Tennesse Titan blue.

Yuk.

Personally, I like the sleeveless green look. It's classic. Plus, the green is fairly unique league wide.

The new logo is Ok.

I liked the green color. They should have incoporated it into the new design, instead of the yellow.

I don't get the yellow.

Unless they are moving to a "Bi Logo" (devil rays and sun rays).

I hope that IS NOT the case.

Are we going to be the Rays as in sun rays or Rays as still in manta rays? Seeing the sun in the logo I'm going to assume sun rays, but then the manta ray is still on the left sleeve in the one rendition.

It is a much simpler look, but so simple that it is almost boring. The blue is overused throughout the league, & seeing that there is no green what are they going to do with Tropicana? There is green everywhere!

Who knows.

I like the simplicity, but don't like the blue either....to me the green is very distinct and unique...and hate the "sun ray" thing. That seems very soft........

The new name (Rays) and new uniforms (crappy royal blue) will make their debut on November 11.

The official unveiling is this thursday.

The team will now be known as "Rays".
