OT- USF thread- Football team loses control over admissions
OK, this kills me, but here is a USF thread to brag about anything USF.
I'll start it off.......USF is the highest ranked team in FL.

USF in a struggle against FAU, tied 7-7 at the half.
TO's are a persistent problem, and Mike Ford is not dressed (either injured or in trouble w/coaches.....maybe a fumbling problem?).
Sloppy effort by USF.

Bulls eke out the W, winning 35-23.
Some questionable calls, some porous defense late, and too many turnovers against a jacked up FAU.
I don't understand why the receivers seem incapable of holding on to the ball.

Coach O'Leary was quoted today that Mike Greco (RS-Soph) could see playing time and possibly even start against USF.
Greco is 6'3, 220 and runs a 4.37 40....and is a dual threat QB.
Yes , he has a gun for an arm. He transferred from NC State.
Tough time to make a first start, if that is really the case.

The Bulls crushed UCF on saturday, 64-12.
The Bulls were better prepared, coached, and superior to UCF in every facet of the game.
George O'Leary ought to be ashamed of his (he never admits to coaching screw ups) performance along with that of his team.

Tampa area is becoming consumed with USF.
It's kind of funny to listen to local less than knowledgeable sports show hosts ( Ron and Ian) bash the polls.
USF has an arguable claim to to being #1, but that just isn't the way it works with newbies in the polls.
If either LSU and/or Oklahoma run the table , along with the 2 current unbeaten teams (OSU, USF) , then I'll bet anything that USF gets leapfrogged by a one loss team.....particularly LSU.
The polls will always favor the big trains...........always.

Boy, the more I think about it the more I think USF does not run on all cylinders tonight.
Could there be an emotional and executional letdown tonight?
Maybe........I'm smelling upset here......forget the earlier prediction.

Well, there was an executional letdown.
Special Teams were killed by Rutgers.
O'Line had too many holes to fill.
Grothe is a beast, although he needs to throw the ball away sometimes.
USF needs to develop a running game besides Grothe. There 3 quality rb's.
These are all obvious and longstanding observations.
