Garza and Bartlett are two of my favorite players...Rincon is very useful in the Bullpen, but I don't care could our bullpen is amazing without him...
Can you tell me anything about Young, Harris or Predie...
We rule 5'd Predie before but he didn't make the squad and you guys took him back...
Young for Garza?

Young is intriguing, and I would hate to see him go.
Played every game, has a canon for an arm, batted around .290 all year adding 93 rbi's. Hits in the clutch too.
His OBP, and power isn't where it will be, IMO, Young is a legitimate .300 30 and 100 guy.
Harris had a great year at the plate. His biggest obstacle is defensively at SS. He lacks range, and his arm is really a tad below adequate. Nice offensive player though.
Predie ain't ready for much.
It's an interesting trade, but I haven't had enough time to let it sink in yet.

I hope that's the case on Garza.....I haven't really seen him much.
Harris is not a leadoff hitter, but could work well in the 2 slot IMO.
He's a good contact hitter, and hits well to all fields.
2B is his best option. He played a little there last year. His range seems very weak as he never seems to get a clean jump on the ball.
I don't know why.
I really liked him offensively. As a SS however, he is less than adequate defensively.
He's a gritty player.

Everyone speaks very highly of Garza's potential.
As the trade has sunken in, I am more at peace with the loss of a potential all star.
I think this trade has very much improved the core of the pitching staff.
