Garza strains his radial nerve in his throwing arm.

Sounds like he's going to the DL.

First Kazmir & now Garza :banghead:

Does Niemann get the call if Garza hits the DL?

That or JP Howell gets a run at it if Garza isn't out too long.

I hope it's Niemann though.

It's only to help out in the bullpen temporarily I heard on the radio.

If Garza is out a month (likely), Niemann will get his shot in the rotation.

Kazmir threw 40+ pitches in batting practice. All is AOK.

He probably will get a couple of low minors starts before joining the rotation (end of April).

Jackson was outstanding today.

8 2 0 0 4 6.

Rays win 7-0. Miller pitched the 9th.

Ed'Win" Jackson is virtually unhittable when he is on. Jackson gets stronger as the game wears on......throwing 98 mph last inning.

I cannot believe that Edwin Jackson is, right now, our best pitcher statistically. Twilight Zone anyone :o

I saw glimpses of this coming last summer.

Now, if he can only maintain it.
