Remember too that these are night games, when Josh excels. I dont think that Giants will intentionally walk Josh 3 straight times

C. Lee vs. T. Lincecum

Over/Under 5.5 runs

Looks like Vlad is playing in Right for game 1 and I really hope his knees hold out because that is one big outfield. Looks like they are going uncle Cliffy, C.J. and then Cobra for game 3 which makes me wonder if that makes sense considering that ballpark would be a good one for Colby to pitch in?

He was purdy darn good when we had him  Good luck the Giants have a solid 3 man rotation (Lincecum, Cain, and Sanchez), so they will keep it closer than a lot of people think imo.

I will jinx it. It is not a night game to start. It will be nearly 5 PM on the west coast. However, if Rangers return, daylight savings will be over and it will get darker earlier.

With the short porch in Right Field, I think you want righty batters hitting. That pushes Lewis down, but keeps him for game seven out there with Cliff and CJ in bullpen with everyone else to throw at Giants.

If someone told me at this time last year that the Cowboys would be 1-5 and the Texas Rangers would be in the World Series I would have told them they were crazy.

I still can't believe The Rangers made it. I don't think it will really even sink in until the first pitch tonight.

Well game 1 sucked the life out of me with MY not making the routine play and Vlad looking like a 800 year old out in right field. I really hope CJ pitches well in game 2 because Cain is as good as they go.

Hey guys, I know the Rangers aren't off to a good start, but I'm still holding out hope for you guys. I went to high school with Darren Oliver (graduated a year ahead of him in 87) and would love to see him get a ring.

Good luck for the rest of the series!

What a disaster in the 8th inning of game 2. I hope Colby is on tonight because they are going to need him to not only pitch well but eat some seroius innings as the bullpen is having problems.

Who would have guessed the Cowboys season would be over before the Rangers this year?

Question for all of you baseball experts.
Why is Clif Lee not scheduled to pitch game 4?

It would seem to me that you would want your ace pitching games 1, 4, and 7.
Is it a rest issue or is the strategy to save him until our backs are really against the wall?

Pitchers today are not used to high pitch counts, short rest etc. In this case,it would have backfired
unless Lee could deliver a 9 inning shutout. Otherwise Texas might lose game 4 1-0 then have to face
Lincicum and Cain at a pitching disadvantage.

If the Rangers were not going to try and keep Lee than I think you do see him for 1,4,7 because than his "potential" arm issues would be on someone elses dime. The Rangers are a pitcher short this series and it is showing why pitching and defense win championships in baseball.
