I cant wait I'll be at the game making this my 19th in a row of Ranger opening days I have attended with my dad. It's a great tradition and it's even greater now that we are finally getting it done on the field!

Holland struggled last night but still did average but it sucked to watch Nathan give up that homerun to Rios. What was funny though was everyone behind the first base dugout thought Hamilton caught that ball it was one of those WTF? moments for the rest of the stadium.

Yu Darvish was hit hard early yesterday but he still managed to get the win thanks to the offense.

Pitches-Strikes:
Yu Darvish 110-59
Alexi Ogando 19-14
Mike Adams 11-11
Scott Feldman 20-13

I figured Darvish would have some butterflies and struggle but it was good to see him keep his composeure and get through 5+ innings last night. Feliz is the one I am interested in tonight to see if his breaking pitches are above average or not?

Congrats on getting paid Kinsler now please continue with what you have been doing this season.

I am glad Wash kept Yu in to fight through for the win in Yu's debut. Shows confidence, and makes him tougher. If he can have Ogando's record and 180 innings, then that is a victory. Remember he is the 4th pitcher.

Sticking with him had to help his confidence for sure. I expect him to be better during his next outing.

This team may be better than last year. Last year I was worried about the pitching. I do not have the same worries. I think that Wash has gotten better at trusting Maddux, and using pitchers better. Big fear is closing, and I think eventually that Ogando will be the closer. Man am I excited to watch this team

13-3 and winning 8 out of 9 on the road. I think that is a pretty good start for the first road trip of the season.

For all of the frustrations that Ranger fans have had this season, this team is still in first despite injuries and uneven batting from the middle of the order. I like that Ron is letting pitchers pitch thru their struggles, and the hitting they do get is timely for the most part. Six game lead on A's, 7 on Angels. Youth is starting to arrive with Grimm, Ross, Scheppers, Perez, Olt, and Profar all very close if not here. Great mix of old and new, and lots of good to come. Easy to be a fan now. Enjoy it whilst it lasts, because it never does.

At Bourne movie last night, phone going crazy with Beltre and Moreland homering. Little cat at game. Crazy crazy.

We have long discussed inconsistent offense, but this is silly. I so love the rangers

So huge win yesterday. Oakland leaves town in same position as they arrived, with Rangers closer to Division win by 4 games. Magic # 3 with Desperate Angels bringing the juice in Weaver, Santana, and Greinke
