Rangers would be smart to keep their distance from Rogers

The Texas Rangers do a lot of things that make them look stupid. Bringing back free-agent pitcher Kenny Rogers for a fourth time would be really dumb. Not to mention he is 43.
The Rangers are desperate for pitching, but they need to have some pride.
In 2005, Rogers left the club looking foolish after he attacked KDFW/Channel 4 cameraman Larry Rodriguez during batting practice.
A few days later, Rogers made an apology that would never be considered sincere.
