what do you guys think of blalock and would you buy him out this year?

you keep him, especially since the club has pretty much came out saying they aren't resigning bradley, blalock is a cheap option at only 6.5 million plus he really tore it up in september to end the season. and i saw a quote the other day saying one scout said he was the best hitter he saw in the 2nd half. if he does come back i want him dh'ing b/c our defense takes a hit when chris davis is at 3rd and blalock's at 1st, plus i dont think blalock can no longer play 3rd

Talk at GM meetings was that Rangers were looking for a 3rd baseman. I have always like Metcalf. Why not.

i think hanks playing days at 3rd are over, and the way people talk about metcalf's defense id be all for keeping him, we already have plenty of offense, plus he'd be another right handed hitter which we dont have many of. the 1 option id look for in a trade would be adrian beltre but it's unlikely the mariners deal within the division
