We saw the trailer, the train wreck of a full feature film, and now we get the Schneider Cut.

Tie & gag bad Schneider, toss him in a locker. Ride God Kikuchi and good Schneider to the title.

Let's **** go.

If he turns in the same numbers as he did this season at Buffalo - .275 with 21 homers, 64 RBIs by August 1 - that's a fantastic outcome for a 28th round pick.

Similar body type but Pedroia was drafted second round, huge gap as prospect wise. If Schneider can stay in the lineup, it's a plus over Biggio, Espinal and push varsho as a utility player as he should be. No everyday player skips against LH pitcher and get pinch hit in key spots

The combination of power/plate discipline from a guy short in stature reminds me a bit of Dan Uggla. Don’t really see Pedroia (a lot of his value came from his elite defense and contact ability).

Angels were terrible during the 4 Game home sweep by the Mariners.

Equivalent of Masai signing Poeltl at deadline doubling down instead of selling

Oh, what the Angels did was far dumber than that (and I’m no fan of Masai’s team building strategy).

Or he takes up medicine and buys a lot of blue hats for his wife.

Yeah, Uggla's probably the comp if everything goes right. .250-.260 hitter with a solid-to-good OBP and 20-30 HR power.

**** the Mariners. nothing more annoying lately than having to fend off that team now.

We gained one on the Astros. And now we have less teams nipping at our heels. I'll take that.

Astros are almost certainly gonna finish ahead of us with all their talent (and the fact they have the As in division) but it’s true that there is a benefit to at least getting rid of Boston/LA.

The Jays have a 12 game stretch starting at the end of August of Nationals, Rockies, As and Royals. Those late season games against NYY might turn into gimmes if the Yankees are out of it and giving prospects more exposure.

Yup. And there's a very realistic chance that the 5 of our last 9 against Tampa may end up being pivotal.

The Guardians are trash. This series needs to be 3/4 at least.

Mariners have a similar 12 Game Stretch starting around the last week of August. They have Royals, White Sox, Athletics, and Mets. Teams they should crush. Very pivotal to the Jays to take advantage of their schedule at that time also.
