Was in the car listening on the radio, and you could pretty clearly here the jawing after that - not sure if it was audible on the TV.

"Your guy allows three runs and now he wants to F*king talk?" Love it.

Heard some rumbling on TV as well, but it seemed to me it was some fan heckling his own pitcher - it was the same content as above, but it sounded from the perspective of a fan. But it could be either really - there was jabbing between the two sides after the accidental contact.

It's hard to compare because there is no draft pick comp in baseball trades (with a minor exception for a few designated picks that are not first rounders). And part of the burn on the Poeltl trade was the expectation that the pick would be just outside the lotto' -- and it wasn't

For me issue with the Poeltl trade was not the "value" per se at the time, it was that it was a horrible trade direction to take given where the Raptors were in February 2023. It was time to sell off some of your assets, not add.

So I guess the comp for the Jays would be trading solid prospects away while still being about 5 games out of the wildcard spot in July.
When it instead should be looking at minimum to sell upcoming FA's like a Kikuchi.
