You know things are bad, when the ultimate Blue Jays Apologist Mike Shillner is saying that it might be time to wave the White Flag. You things are terrible, when Mr. "It is Still Early" is looking at a way to regroup for 2025. Well done Shapiro and Atkins.
9 years in and still without a Playoff Win, while possessing a Luxury Tax Payroll of around 245 Million, and a bottom tier farm system. Even Shillner had to speak the truth for once on the pathetic state of this organization.

If he were still employed by Rogers he'd say there's still time. i like the lineup 1-4 tonight.

How did you like Springer hitting into a double play in the 5 spot to end the inning with runners on the corner

Everyone below springer have been awful. its your pick of the litter after Turner.

Springer has the lowest OPS for any starting corner outfielder in MLB in the last 100 years.

isn't hitting at a historic low this season? With Bo back tonight leading off i think this lineup has some momentum in the top half.

Does Springer count as being in the top half

He's even making Varsho 2023 season of .670 look like Paul Molitor! Some accomplishment!

Hard to believe that a former Silver Slugger, 4 Time American League All-Star, and a World Series MVP like George Springer can transform himself into the 2024 version of Bradley Zimmer 2.0; and arguably become one of the worst hitters in all of MLB heading into the month of July. Just mind boggling how Springer has become a total shell of himself.

I think we all expected Springer to become a loss before his deal was over, but I don’t imagine anyone saw is as being this steep this soon. The Jays are so weird, as though forgetting how to hit were a communicable disease. Never seen this many players, many of whom are in their primes, fall off a collective cliff like this. It’d be really interesting to hear how they’re being coached.

Most teams were offering a 4 year deal with the understanding his 4th year would be terrible. Definitely the Jays didn't think he would fall off a cliff in year 3, which sucks cause we didn't even get him for a full season in year 1 when he was good.
