If I have an all star on a bad team, that's something to build around. A mediocre player is nothing to build around at all. That's if you're being realistic about playoff success. A huge question mark here.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Well great news. Vlads an all star this year.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

But apparently not the team MVP. The end.

Or when Varsho doesn’t contribute. They despise our MVP.
He has not been contributing offensively for over two months. I would not despise him if he was not one of the worst hitters in MLB for the past 8-9 weeks based on his numbers, and still hitting below .200 right now. I am sorry, no player can be a MVP of a team with the trash hitting numbers of Varsho (BA, OBP, SLG, and OPS), regardless of the great defense he will provide.
Like I said before, Varsho is the "Ultimate Run Prevention Guy". He prevents runs from the opposing team with his defense, but his awful hitting numbers also prevent the Jays from scoring runs with his inability to get hits, get on base, or drive in Runs with RISP. Hopefully, getting a big hit can change his fortunes going forward at the plate, but that is doubtful given his track record the whole year (except for two hot weeks in April); and looking awful overall at the plate over the three games in Seattle except for his last at bat.

Good watch... Griffin lays out what the team should do, why Rogers won't want to rebuild, and why the team is more likely to retool.
