Why does Atkins still have a job? This season and tenure under Atkins has been a disaster. I can't wait until they are all gone. I've boycotted them and will not be watching or going to any game this season.

The thought of this management presiding over a mini-firesale isn't too enticing though.

This management’s big moves were to bring back KK at too much money and IKF for no real reason. That was going to push this team over the top! Like, in what world?

Its pretty evident that he has some kind of under the table deal with Ownership to do what he wants without repercussions. If he wasnt fired after that debacle with Berrios last year and subsequent bungling during the interview where he threw Schneider under the bus, then i highly doubt hes going anywhere this offseason as well.

From what ive heard from insiders is that Bo has been pretty much injured all season long. That calf has been bothering him constantly, which has affected his swing greatly. Despite that, Schneider and the FO have been rushing him back over and over again in a desperate attempt to win games to save their own jobs. A guy with Bo's skillset and pedigree doesnt just magically forget how to hit. Its 100% been the injuries this year.

The FO needs to try to sell some stupid contender on trading for a hot Springer right now. It could save this franchise.

He had a 65 wRC+ in August and 98 wRC+ in September last year too. The guy has sucked for a calendar year now.

On that last walk Gausman was robbed of strike 3. Schulman mentioned Jansen stabbed at the ball which didn’t help but when the ball crossed the plate it was a strike.

10 games below .500 currently. Let's hear an explanation from this reputable analytics department. Surely, the error rate couldn't have been this bad in their models.

https://www.statmuse.com/mlb/ask/ops-by-position-2024

Here is another issue when it comes to Bichette's value.
In 2024, the best offensive position in baseball in terms of OPS is Shortstop. Such a major change from the past (10,20,30, 40 years ago), but as players get more athletic more and more good hitters are able to handle the additional demands of the SS position.

One of Bichette's inherent values appeared to be he is a really good hitter for a Shortstop (before this year) even if his defence lacks. But shortstops aren't the crappy hitters, on average, that they once were.

That umpire had a tight strike zone earlier but then it opened up towards the end lol.
