Definitely should have sold high on Chad Green at the deadline

It’s not a rebuild. It’s a reset.

To think we traded Teoscar Hernandez for this bum Swanson, and not trading Green at the deadline

This was such a frustrating loss. Up 6-1 early then up 8-4 only to lose 10-9.

Fix the goddamn bullpen and get us a closer for next season you clowns!

Baseball is a stupid sport for idiots.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

too many of those guys on the team for next year that the Jays are relying on

Green, Bassitt, Berrios, Gausman... doesn't inspire confidence for next season.

6 runs in the 1st inning! That's more like it. :D

IIRC, the Jays went about 40 games to start the season without scoring in the first inning..... the worst mark in 50 years or so.

It wouldn't surprise me that since that point the Jays have the best first inning offence in baseball. They jump on teams, but then often fade.

Doubles for MVP Varsho and Kirk in the first. There's a certain segment of our fanbase that will be stewing over that inning.

Ultimate baseball is strange and random stat.

In the first 33 games of the season, the Blue Jays scored ZERO runs in the first inning. (equivalent to 0.00 runs per game)

In the last 42 games of this season, the Blue Jays scored 48 runs in the first inning. (equivalent to 10.29 runs per game)

Sorry to break it to you Mr. Randle. Vladdy is our MVP this season. Not Varsho.

Vladdy’s anti-Randle agenda continues apace.

Phillies on another level. But both games were fun to watch and were competitive. You can't ask for more with the current lineup. But man there's so much work to do in the off-season if this team wants to be better.
