It’s so weird how it’s taken this long for vladdy to hit a homer and Baldwin just throws his bat at a tough pitch and somehow hits it out.

So something that I’ve noticed with Guerreros swing compared to some of the greats like trout and ohtani and judge is there’s a lot of movement at the top and he does this bat tip thing that might contribute to him being late on fastballs. If you look at the 3 I mentioned, their stance and swing is very quiet at the top. There’s no additional movement of the bat when they’re loading up… I’m not sure why this hasn’t been fixed with Guerrero or why no one has brought it up…

It occurred to me last night that we're nearly 20 games into the season and have only lost one series so far.

I don't understand why MLB doesn't mandate teams to invest some money in proper replay cameras all over the stadium. Teams only get 15 seconds to challenge. In this case, the team would've had no way of knowing what happened in 15 seconds or not because the footage isn't there. Even Jomboy had to splice it and go by really grainy zoom. At this point, every stadium should have a couple cameras in the outfield. I also think they should have a camera in the center field bleacher thats pointed directly to second base. That would give a new angle to replays at second.

Don’t worry, he also made a two run defensive error in the same game that still cost them the loss.

I actually said this exact thing about the bat tip a week or so ago making him late and miss pitches he sees and should crush. Cant remember which thread.. but the more he tips it forward in front of him, the longer the swing gets. It looks like a slowpitch swing. In 2021 when he was at his best, it looked much different.

That drop on the throw he clanked was brutal! his defense hasnt bern that great overall tbh….but I still cant believe they called him out at 1st without a replay like it was an obvious blunder. Even when you do leave early you don't normally get that call. That was worse than the blown strike 3 that Schneider openly complained about to the media. He should have been defending Vladdy after that game..

What’s weird is it look like he purposely changed his swing to make it that way. But if you compare his 2021 swing it was quieter.

Idk man.
