The choice was really facing Bichette with 1 out to Vlad and all you have to do to get Bichette out is throw 3 balls far off the plate

Thank god we won that. We had so many chances. Bo absolutely needs to be better in a situation like that in the 11th with the game on the line. He legit swung at something not even remotely close to the zone.

But will they trade him and get something for him?

Hopefully Bichette can get hot and he can trade him for a useful reliever at the deadline. I have no hesitation in putting Clement at SS for the rest of the season.

Maybe another organization can teach Bichette some plate discipline. Dude has a career walk rate of ~5.5%, and that won't cut it.

“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

The pitcher threw 4 balls in the dirt to him way off the plate with the bases loaded. Just has absolutely no plate approach to speak of.

Rack up another +1 for the +/- differential.

I’m not trading a useful player off the MLB roster for a reliever if they’re a contender.

Just give him the QO after the season, he’ll decline it and we will be done with him.

I do not think the organization will trade him, especially with Gimenez being banged up also. They will ride Bichette for the year, and either he comes back at a price point that works for them or he will just walk.

The pitcher had run a full count against Springer before the line out. Then his manager decides to load his bases by intentionally walking Vladdy

There’s literally one out. You need to make him throw any sort of a strike. A walk wins the game. (Youre almost actually nervous for Bo to put the ball in play because you risk a double play…) He really needs to work the count there. All the pressure is on the pitcher.

Nice to have relievers out of the bullpen like Estrada and Fisher, compared to the terrible guys we had last year and even earlier in the year (Barnes and Lovelady).

On June 12, 2024, the Toronto Blue Jays traded Cavan Biggio and cash considerations to the Los Angeles Dodgers for pitcher Braydon Fisher.

This is now turning out to be a great trade by Toronto Blue Jays GM Ross Atkins!!

Braydon Fisher is currently pitching very well for the Toronto Blue Jays.

To be honest did anyone expect this out of fisher?

Whatever she did, she sued the US Open over it. Maybe Garcia will sue the Blue Jays.

Nobody did. However, credit to Ross Atkins for getting Fisher over a scrub like Biggio (who was here two years longer than I wished). Biggio then bounced around to four more teams after Toronto, and not even playing in MLB right now. As much as I have ripped Atkins over the years, credit to him for this move.
