To an underslot deal, about 600k saving which i guess goes to 12th rounder Blaine Bullard.

So if i followed, signed our first, 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 8th and 10th rounder, as well 12th rounder out of our top 20 picks.

It looks like we've signed 17 of 19 (we lost our 2nd round pick for signing Santander)

Per MLB.com we're at 14/19, with rounds 9, 16, 17, 18, and 20 to go.

https://www.mlb.com/draft/tracker/2025/all/team/bluejays

Also, just added up the bonuses offered, and it looks like the Jays need to sign 9th Rounder Ligon for <$95k, or they're going over the 5% threshold, unless I'm doing my maths wrong.

The MLB Tracker is behind. They are done and have signed everyone they will sign. No, they will not sign Peeples nor was there an expectation to sign him.

From everything I've read so far online, we had a really good draft. I guess check back in a couple years to see if it was actually good lol. Although idk if it's just me but we're seeing prospects move a lot faster than we used to.

They slimmed down the minor leagues a half-decade back; that probably has something to do with it. Now, once you're out of Rookie Ball, you're one promotion away from being just behind AAA

Out of curiosity has our farm team actually moved up the rankings after this? + recent developments.

Also i understand the extra Internation money we can use until december? Is there anyone else we can get?

i think our farm team has moved up slightly, but FARM rankings is heavily slanted by what is is perceived as top prospect - top 100, and we have very little few. LAst year it was Orelvis Martinez/Ricky T basically carrying our farm ranking, then he got busted, Ricky injuried again, and shine has wore off.

We have more mid-tier prospects, no one since Vladdy/Bo whom was deemed superstar status prospect

Are the Blue Jays now a top 12-15 farm system?

Geoff Pontes
I think they are very much in the conversation for that range after the draft. It's a really talented Top 10.

I know the Jays have always had a great reputation in the Dominican, and signing Vladdy Jr to the huge long term deal might make them the top destination, but to have a verbal agreement for a signing that's going to happen 3 years from now? That's insane but this kid is a monster.
