The good news is that Wells believes he's very close to being back to full strength, and judging by the few swings he's taken since arriving in camp Monday, he looks that way, too. Still, Wells won't really know how stable his shoulder is until he steps into the batter's box during a game.
"Once I start doing everyday stuff to see how it reacts is pretty much the big question," Wells said. "I mean, I've hit in the cage. I was kind of on an every-other-day schedule in the offseason

It's good to see that our star CF is nearly back to full strength. I really want to see what this offence can do when healthy. Having Wells, Overbay, Rolen and Eckstein...all at 100% should give the Jays that much needed offensive boost to help one of the best pitching staff's in the majors.
That plus Hurt is actually giving more of an effort in ST to see if that will help his habit of slow starts.
Can't wait for some spring games to start....then eventually the season on the March 31st.
