Eleven hits, six walks, and two runs. That's not easy to accomplish. For mere mortal teams...for the Jays, it's a stroll in the park.

Watch those kidneys, Scooter-o. That groundout in the 11th put them back on the menu.

It appeared through the first 6 games that the Jays had developed a new approach at the plate, they were taking pitches and having good at bats, and were doing an adequate job with runners in scoring position. But this Oakland series was exactly like last year, especially the last two games.

Glad I didn't get to watch this one, this series told me all I needed to know about this Jays team, some things never change.

we always do this. Play ok against the sox and the yanks then get shellacked by everyone else.

Im still trying to determine whether this team is worth following this season.

This team can't score with runners in scoring position. If this doesn't improve, it's going to be a long season.

The offense was a montrosity of a failure on Thursday night. Exactly how the Oakland offense was on Wednesday night until they redeemed themselves at a key moment in the game. Last night, we had chances in the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th with runners in scoring position. I don't know what to say...

It also should not be ignored that the Jays just got stifled by a guy named Dana.

To be fair, he looks more like a Darryl or a Harlan than a Dana.

Why can't we play anyone outside of the AL East? Why? Why?

Chuck just said on the Fan that it's "unacceptable" to lose against the Athletics.

Someone should introduce Chuck Swirsky to the Toronto Raptors.

To be fair, he also said during the games that the Raps should not be losing to the Bobcats when they were, and the Nets, and the Hawks...and the list goes on.

So the A's hammered CC Sabathia tonight. 9 runs, 12 hits, in 3.1 innings. Maybe get swept by them wasn't that bad, they're on fire.
