New patches on uniform sleeves

I love the leaf on the jersey. When you are the only Canadian team in the league, you have to represent that. I like details like that and I appreciate it.

As far as "ted", even though most people werent a big fan and he didnt care much for baseball, he still was the owner of that team. I dont think paying tribute to the owner is all that bad. Maybe a black striped around the jersey would have been classier and more subtle, but I dont mind the tribute.

The red leaf on the sleeve is too large, it comes off a bit amateur. Contrast that with the maple leaf on the back of the raptors uniform which is the right size/colour and really makes the uniform itself look better. The jays leaf looks like an afterthought put on by some marketing schmuck. It's funny that they suddenly decide to show everyone they're canadian now, the expos have been gone for a while and they chose a logo without a leaf.

The Ted thing is ridiculous, of course. Respect to the business the man built, but he only owned the team for a few years and throwing his first name on the sleeve is tacky.

yeah, i think the red leaf was quite large... I thought it was going to be a tiny one.

Not big on it either. I'm in the same boat as you. It is larger than I thought, and bright too, really noticeable.
