He's fine. X-Ray tests were negative. Day-to-day.

i just saw the replay.. he looked very painful.. I hope he's ok, as he is an instrumental part of our lineup.

I don't know if any of you have suffered bruised ribs (which is what this is likely to be), but it's really painful for a month. It's hard to find a comfortable sleeping position, so you're not even rested.

The Blue Jays have been really lucky with injuries to everyday players this year (although Wells' hammy must be bothering him). Losing Scutaro will be the first test of our depth in that regard. I'd expect to see Inglett back from Vegas pretty quickly. Quite the downgrade defensively.

Yeah, he's the shortstop and leadoff hitter.

It wasnt the ribs, it was right in the sternum. But pretty much the same ailments follow both injuries. Hopefully its not a deep bruise.
