Lucky old Texas Rangers. They get the Blue Jays for the next four games down there in Arlington and they'll miss Roy Halladay.
This, if you're facing the Blue Jays these days, is a very good idea, the kind of luck of the draw that might make a Rangers fan think this could indeed be their year.
Perhaps any or all of the Jays' next four starters, namely Casey Janssen, Brian Tallet, Ricky Romero and Scott Richmond, will do what Halladay did yesterday.
Then again, how could they?
Nobody's doing quite what Halladay is doing these days.
He's now 10-1 – and could easily be 12-1 when the yeah-buts are figured in – after a complete-game shutout of the Kansas City Royals, a 4-0 no-walk afternoon that required a mere 97 pitches.
