In any of the interviews I never heard Doc say he wouldn't resign he kept saying that he will test the free agent waters,,,he will see were the bluejays are at the time, how close they are to being a contender, thus leaving the door open.The reality is that we all know, including Doc that we won't be close, I don't think any where he comes right out and says he is signing any where else, of course being very politically correct in doing so

I thought this was a good write up on the JP-Roy situation. He could have handled it a lot better, especially if he kept his yap shut.
