Blue Jays agree to terms with Marcum

The Toronto Blue Jays have agreed to terms on a contract for 2010 with right-handed pitcher Shaun Marcum.

The 28-year-old will be signing an $850,000 contract.

The Blue Jays, who have set a Tuesday deadline to sign all of their arbitration-eligible players, have five left to sign: closer Jason Frasor, relievers Shawn Camp, Casey Janssen and Jeremy Accardo as well as swingman Brian Tallet.

I was kind of hoping that they could lock him up for 2-3 years in anticipation of a bounce back year, but it's hard to argue with 850k.
