The most noise the crowd made was when a fan went sprinting into one of the closed sections to get a foul ball and of course when they booed Rios. It was a nice thursday night with the dome open (which of course you don't see that often in April) so I was suprised at such a small crowd but I guess the NHL playoffs has alot to do with that.

NHL playoffs? I highly doubt that.

Attendance will be fine... it's mid-April.

I'm actually going to be attending more games this season than past years. With low expectations this season every win is gonna be even better.

I say that because I left in the 8th inning and when I was walking past that union station sports bar (commuters?) there was a huge group of people standing outside of the full bar trying to catch a glimpse of the game at the same time there was barely 10,000 fans at the jays game. Alot of hockey fans won't get interested in baseball until hockey is over (I have somewhat of a similar problem when the raptors make the playoffs but that doesn't happen enough to be a big concern). Anyway, might not be the biggest factor but it's defnitly part of it.

sunday afternoon, sunny, few clouds in the sky, and the dome is closed. Sure it's a little windy but suck it up, bring a jacket. We live in Canada for f sakes.

There's more blue jays fans in alberta than there are in toronto.

what are the chances the jays leave toronto?

Not likely. They're still profitable for Rogers despite low attendance.
