Wells 2nd in franchise HR

For all the flack and bad years this guy has had over the last couple seasons, I think this deserved its own thread.

Wells is now tied with Joe Carter for 2nd in franchise history with 203 bombs, and likely within a week will own that spot by himself. I think he deserves a lot of credit from the franchise for this feat, doing it until immense pressure, scrutiny and doing it very quietly.

He is not likely to get to first though, as Delgado mashed over 360 I think in his time here. None the less, round of applause for V

He doesn't deserve most of the crap he gets. It's not his fault that someone decided to pay him a lucrative contract, and injuries were bothering him during the unproductive stretches.

He has proven that he is still a productive player when healthy, and most importantly the man is a class act and does a lot for the community. Kudos to him.
