What! Did anyone see that? In between innings, Vernon somehow saw a few Jays fans in the first row of the upper deck, right above the Jays dugout. So he comes out of the dugout, and while I thought he was tossing a ball to some fan a few rows up, he airmails it to the Jays fan in the upper deck with a perfect throw. What accuracy. Vernon is my new hero. I need to get a clip of this.

That was great...it's just too bad that there aren't situations in a game which require you to throw vertically. Though baseball played on a three-story field sounds pretty grand.

Even if I had a cannon for an arm, I woulda looked at the fan, pondered for a second, and said f*ck this I ain't about to embarrass myself by attempting such a difficult throw with hundreds of people watching.

David Purcey tried the same thing once. Three people died. He doesn't speak of it much.

I bet that Jays fan wasn't heckling him, because if he was, he'd get an awesome message from V-Dub...

Rather the Blue Jays win.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

LOL at Overbay. "Right when I was rounding second I was like why am I doing this?"
