A lack of speed and possibly effort.

There's something I really can't stand about Kerry Underwood, just don't know what it is.

And game over folks. Too bad the difference of the game came by way of a John McDonald error of all things.

They'll reach .500 about one month later than I thought they might.

Meh, I'm an eternal optimist. June was a meat-grinder of a month schedule-wise and with one game remaining they sit at 9-16. I'd be satisfied with a 10-16 month considering the opposition.

The starting pitching has continued to be great, and should continue to be the rest of the year (assuming the kids aren't traded and/or injured).

The offense is less clear. The homers have really started to tail off, and now we know what a low OBP, low BA, low power offensive looks like - UGLY! I can't see the OBP or BA getting any worse, but the power numbers lately have been more in line with what most would have expected.

I still like my pre-season prediction of 75 wins here. They have a comparatively easy stretch of games coming up before the trade deadline. If they can win a solid majority of those, a solid winning season is still very much possible.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Horrible offense. Swing @ everything, and don't take pitches

I can't understand why an offense with so many power hitting righties can't touch left-handed pitching.

Litsch K'd Choo there....no call, results in a walk and then a run scored.

When does Shin-soo Choo's contract end? I would love for the Jays to go after him, the most underappreciated player in baseball by far, criminally underrated.

I remember hearing something about him having to go back to South Korea at some point to fulfill his compulsory military service requirement.

new vid on blackberry insider. Man, the clubhouse is so souped up, even for a visiting team. Like it really is a clubhouse.

LOL @ Connect Four. I can just picture Overbay with about 3 chances to win the game yet finds a way to botch it every time.

hahha getting swept by the INDIANS in a 4 game series. I'd rather haver bunch of mannequins up there batting. At least they'd take three pitches.
