As much as I like Delgado I would rather see him go to a contender where he will get regular ABs rather than come here and split time with a youngster.

Point is, he could have did us a favour and he chose not to. Im very confident on my recollection of the matter. Jays couldnt afford him. Juan Gonzalez did the same thing. That was his choice, just as its my choice to view him as a player who doesnt see winning as a priority. I say keep him far away.

It looks like he has signed a minor league deal with the Red Sox and will most likely be brought up before September 1st if things work out well.

I hope Delgado has a nice run with the BoSox. Sucks that he's back in our division, but I always did like him as a player.
