In an excerpt from tonight’s interview above, Anthopoulos talks about which players he sees as the cornerstone of the franchise moving forward and the Jays’ future plans to start acquiring more players through free agency.

The Bautista one really did seem "up close" didn't it. A little too much into his personal space if you ask me -- I think Buck was trying to do his Strombo impersonation...
Is anybody here a marine biologist?

it just seemed to me like Buck was trying to create an "intimate", "relational" feel to the interview that just didn't connect - like a guy posing as your close friend when he's not.

But i didn't see all of it either, so there's a chance I'm being overly critical... Jose seems totally down to Earth and ready to do anything at all to win and earn that contract.

I hate awkward interviews.. It makes me feel awkward too lol. Reminds me of the interview cabbie did with the "three stars" of bosh, sundin, and wells..
