The Bautista one really did seem "up close" didn't it. A little too much into his personal space if you ask me -- I think Buck was trying to do his Strombo impersonation...
Is anybody here a marine biologist?

i didn't catch it.. curiously, what was an example of a question that Buck asked that seemed... "up close" ?

i didn't catch it.. curiously, what was an example of a question that Buck asked that seemed... "up close" ?
it just seemed to me like Buck was trying to create an "intimate", "relational" feel to the interview that just didn't connect - like a guy posing as your close friend when he's not.
But i didn't see all of it either, so there's a chance I'm being overly critical... Jose seems totally down to Earth and ready to do anything at all to win and earn that contract.

I hate awkward interviews.. It makes me feel awkward too lol. Reminds me of the interview cabbie did with the "three stars" of bosh, sundin, and wells..
