Because there was no need.

And AA clearly wants defensive flexibility with the DH spot ( ie... Rivera now, E5 later, can both handle their positions adequately if need be )

Good to hear, hopefully they find a someone who will take Rivera.

Proof that Rivera wasnt cutting it in RF. Im sure AA wants to move him at the right opportunity.

Proof that Rivera wasn't cutting it in right field, or the team just looks much better on paper with a lineup that includes EE at third, Rivera at DH and Bautista at RF rather than EE at DH, Rivera at RF and Bautista at third?
