what an awful series.

with this game specifically... 1 goddam hit against a flyball pitcher who hasn't won in 9 starts or something like that... 1 **** hit? christ, come on you scrbus, have some pride for gods sake.

My patience with Farrel is starting to get very very thin if Dotel faces a lefty one more time.....

Yikes.

On the plus side, regarding last game's little incident with Patterson, at least Farrell acknowledged that running was the wrong move. Sort of.

"We gambled in the first-and-second situation late in the game, down by five...Corey has very good instincts on the base paths, it just so happened Doubront ran the inside move after we broke early. We've had a lot of success running the bases. You're not going to be right 100% of the time. We don't want our aggressiveness to be curtailed for the fact we gambled wrong in that situation."

That's regarding the 8-1 loss, not today's fiasco.

Yikes.

Remind me again why everyone was excited about the Jays this year? Until we get some solid pitchers, this team is a joke.

Give me a break, Romero had been great up until today. Bad start, they happen. We're still waiting on Morrow to come back and Cecil to figure out his velocity.

Only the people who will stop following the team before May got their hopes up to begin with. It happens every year.

Because it's the Jays and it's the beginning of the season and we just got taken by a team that was supposed to be the best in the division and was just slumping... and our pitching rotation isn't at full capacity...

Go back to posting about basketball. You don't come off nearly as uninformed there.

Relax, its a 162 game season. The hype is that we are up and coming, have loads of talent in the wings. Just be patient!

Better in 1-run games and get at least SOME offense going when we're getting hammered like we have been the last two games, ugh. The Lester game, I understand and I guess Dice-K's history with us as well, but JEEZ. 8-1 and 9-1 in consecutive games to give the BoSox their groove back was not how I envisioned closing out this series.
