That Francisco for Napoli trade looks pretty bad so far. Napoli has a .824 OPS season going with the Rangers. He's also consistently been a very good hitter. Would've been great to have him in the lineup.

I'm guessing that this isn't his "end swing". At some point in time, once he has a couple full years under his belt and he's better at gauging pitches, maintaining balance and all of that good stuff, he'll add more loft and start hitting more home runs.
I agree that his swing will evolve over time, but 20 home runs a year is still what you would consider a power bat. I just don't see Snider ever getting to that next level where he's hitting 25-30 and in serious consideration for an all-star berth. And there's absolute nothing wrong with that at all...if he can give you 20 and 80 and hit above .280 you've got a solid major leaguer.
