The Pirates are familiar with Dotel, so it makes sense they'd be interested in him. I'm just wondering if teams are inquiring about Rzep and that's why he went out on Saturday night to attempt to close the game.

Every team is asking about Morrow. They'd be dumb not too. Doesn't mean the Jays are going to trade him though.

There is just no way Morrow is being traded, i'd say he is almost as untouchable as Bautista.

On PrimeTime today Beeston was saying that AA has been on the phone like crazy the past week and half and has since been huddled with his people working on 'big' things and that other teams love our prospects.

Not really anything ground breaking but it's better than hearing how some 'small things are on the table'.

Anyways, Pirates looking for relievers. Frasor, Dotel mentioned in the article or tweet.

I dont know why but I can see AA pulling an Alex Gonzalez-type deal by trading Dotel to the pirates for two players.

It wasn't just Alex Gonzalez for Escobar and Reyes.

We also included Tyler Pastronicky and Tim Collins to go along with Gonzalez.

Didnt realize that.. Either way he turned that into a .300 hitter (and unfortunately Reyes)
