He looked really good there today, made some really nice running plays.

After the first handful of games I was skeptical of the positive defensive reports Lawrie had gotten in AAA, but he has honestly looked like a plus fielder to me since.

I've been known to get tricked by the Bautista promo ("Bautista long drive to left-field, he's done it again!"). If I'm making food while the game is on, I'll hear it and look over. Or if it's 1:40 AM and the game is not on, I'll hear it and still look over. It's a life style.

Right from the get go it was pretty clear Ricky didn't have his best stuff and he threw a LOT of pitches early. Jannsen and Franky looked good though.

Kelly Johnson looked good up at the dish and JP had a really good game. Yunel also played outstanding and Jose's homer was a BOMB. Our boy Lawrie had a decent game but the man is FAST. Seeing him chug along on TV is one thing, but in real life, he is BIG, STRONG and FAST. He also made some really nice defensive plays.

Was a great game to catch today.

Not to be a dick or anything; but you know in todays age of HDTV and broadcasting talent, we probably see more details and tidbits than you would live right?
