Alex Anthopolous Ranked 2nd Best GM in the Game

2. Alex Anthopoulos, Toronto Blue Jays
Anthopoulos is starting to get access to the kind of resources Friedman lacks, and that's scary. This is the man who moved the immovable Vernon Wells, who is quickly making a habit of gathering unwanted but talented young players from other clubs and who may already have Toronto's minor-league system stocked with top-five talent.

If it weren't for that trade of Napoli, he would've been ranked as the best in the game. Nonetheless, it's great to see the baseball world starting to give Anthopolous the credit he deserves.
Want: Trae Young, Michael Porter Jr., DeAndre Ayton, Jaren Jackson Jr, Marvin Bagley III, Mohamad Bamba, Shai Gilgeous- Alexander, Elie Okobo, Jevon Carter

I love the top 3 here...... but to be honest, this how i rank them:

1- Andrew Friedman, Tampa Bay Rays
2- Jon Daniels, Texas Rangers
3- Alex Anthopoulos, Toronto Blue Jays

here is why: Friedman is the clear best guy right now because he is working magic with the RAYS and their tiny salary limit, in the hardest division of the MLB. Yeh they stock piled talent over the years from a decade of losing, but the way he keeps restocking the system with new good talent is impressive.

As for Daniels over AA. Well, ill just give Daniels some credit for putting the material on the field. His team is dominating while Alex's team is building towards it. Both guys are great, but im giving the edge to the guy who proved it on the field so far, the other is on his way.

Dont think im hating AA...... if u think im hating AA for putting him as the 3rd best GM in the MLB, u gotta be kidding me. Thats an AMAZING position to be in. AA is amazing.

Yeah I would tend of agree with you on your top 3. Friedman and Daniels both have great farm systems, make great trades whiles being able to put a winning team on the field. Anthopolous has only done 2 of the 3 but I won't be surprised if this same time next year, he's ranked as the best in the game. Also, a guy that I think is a sleeper that might compete for best GM in the game is Jed Hoyer down in San Diego.

Maybe someone at the widely respected Bleacher Report will rank team owners.

Or maybe they should rank sources of information and opinion.

Would they rank themselves over RealGM?

Bleacher report links should be banned.
