Travis d'Arnaud getting surgery for thumb injury

Travis d'Arnaud tore ligaments in thumb catching for Team USA at 39th World Cup in Panama and returned home for an operation

Glove hand.

I guess he won't be included in any blockbuster trades.

Four months until pitchers and catchers report, so hopefully he'll be fully recovered.

Four months should be plenty of time to fully heal from a broken thumb. I doubt this impairs his trade value at all, but I doubt he's going anywhere regardless.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."
