With Frank Francisco and Jon Rauch signing with the Mets and us picking up 2 draft picks. I'm convinced that Anthopolous is a greek god.
Want: Trae Young, Michael Porter Jr., DeAndre Ayton, Jaren Jackson Jr, Marvin Bagley III, Mohamad Bamba, Shai Gilgeous- Alexander, Elie Okobo, Jevon Carter

Frankie gave us a very dominant 2nd half of the season. I would have been happy to have him back next year as a setup man or emergency closer.

Thanks for the draft pick.

He's a relief pitcher. Don't get too bent out of shape about it.

Pretty amazing the Mets picked up both, and on the same night at that. Rauch in particular - he's just awful.

Frankie is a decent reliever, but I pass at $6M per. Plus he wasn't going to be back after his mid-season meltdown with reporters. The Jays don't put up with that kind of behaviour, which as a fan I appreciate.

Losing both does suggest a need however for a veteran presence or two in the pen, particularly a lefty.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

I couldn't care less really, we already knew he wasn't coming back. I guess it's just people complaining for the fun of it. He's a good pitcher, we had him for a year, now he signed a contract for $6M/yr. It's not like Gregg or Rauch where the guy actually stinks and we should be happy to be rid of him.

Frank played really well in the 2nd half, I wouldnt have minded seeing him back as a set up or MR. But If he cant bring the 2nd half of the season consistantly at his price tag im happy for us to cash out for a draft pick.
