Argos and TFC? No.

The Jays have exceptional television ratings compared to the rest of baseball.

This is true but still game attendance evens out the television ratings. I would say if you combine TV ratings/ad money with admissions, then you get a middle of the row MLB market.

Yep pretty much with the terrible attendance over the last few years I would say actually a little below average. Hence the slightly below average payroll, funny how that lines up isn't it?

Milwaukee Brewers 7.9
Boston Red Sox 7.9
Cincinnati Reds 7.2

You don't need it. The point is we aren't in the top 10, which supports my point perfectly. :D

Four salary updates

McGowan for $600,000 wasn't in the OP's chart
Mathis at $1.500,000 came in $300,000 below OP's projection
Litsch at $960,000 came in $340,000 below OP's guess
Ben Francisco at $1.3 million

We're nearing $68 million, but since Teahan seems to be destined to lose his roster spot, we could offload him and end up paying a bit less than his full salary. So I think we're safe at $68 million for the 25-man opening day roster to this point with a number of arbs and possible additions pending.

I did a similar calculation and came up with $68 million including Teahan. Unless we make a major trade I think we should come in right around that level.
