How Would Your Blue Jays Lineup Look Like in 2015?

If you had to project the Blue Jays lineup in 4 years with most of our top prospects making the big league by then and making a significant impact, how would our lineup shake out like?

Catcher - Travis d'Arnaud
1B - JP Arencibia
2B - Yunel Escobar
3B - Brett Lawrie
SS - Adeiny Hechavarria
LF - Colby Rasmus
CF - Anthony Gose
RF - Jake Marisnick
DH - Jose Bautista

No. 1 Starter - Ricky Romero
No. 2 Starter - Noah Syndergaard
No. 3 Starter - Brandon Morrow
No. 4 Starter - Justin Nicolino
No. 5 Starter - Drew Hutchinson
Closer - Sergio Santos

I don't think JPA has any value for a 1B, and i think we would need more power from LF than Rasmus

I don't think players really need to fit moulds at all positions. We could make up for power at other positions. I'm fine with a CF who will hit 40 HR's and a 1B who gets on base (.400) with 10 HR. As long as we have some power in 3-4-5 I don't care where they play. I think Rasmus would make a great LF.

JPA I must say though has 0 value at 1B. He is worse than Lind offensively and likely won't improve much (according to baseball aging curve). He would need more or less a miracle to happen for him to be worth anything from the 1B side of things.

It was either him or Lind and I'm not a fan of Adam Lind and his stiff back lol!

1B - Prince Fielder

Looks a lot better than debating between Adam Lind and friggin JPA.

Not all of these prospects are going to be stars, or even really solid starters on a playoff-caliber team. Also, 2015 is far enough downstream for a guy like Norris to crack the starting rotation. If Norris or Alvarez aren't in the picture, then by definition we have traded them, in which case we should probably throw one of the above position players into the trade to get a get a real all-star back.

Think about where the Jays were in 07/08. The projected lineup for starters now would be Arencibia/Ahrens/Jackson/Tolisano and how many of those happened? Lineups are a little stable so you can go a year or two out maybe, but pitching staffs beyond 2012 is not worth discussing. My guess is if I guess 5 guys for a 2015 rotation I'll probably get 1 (Romero's stable, but not untouchable) and It'd be a pure role of the dice whether I pick the right name from the prospects for the rotation and it's a guarantee if I pick 4, 3 of them will be wrong.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good system and way more guys have a legit shot compared to 3-4 years ago, but I promise AA doesn't have guys like Gose, Marisnick, Hutch, and Syndergaard even pencilled in anywhere yet.
