Here's the thing with Rasmus... Everyone is giving him flack for his poor performance with the Jays last year. He came in for 35 games or so, just left a brutal situation and had to fit in pretty quickly. Add to that that he was injured and I'd say he did okay. I think a lot has to be said about going through a ST with the guys, building some friendships and having an entire season with the guys. I see a nice little swagger with the Jays that I think Colby will be a part of it. Granted, we don't have many veterans, but I think the Bautistas and the Encarnacions can prove to show some great leadership. No doubt some guys will struggle, but I believe that with a full ST under his belt, no LaRusss and vets riding him, Rasmus could regain his form.
BTW, First post on the Jays forum, and I look forward to more discussions. Haven't been this excited for a season in a while. Perhaps a little premature, but if all the right pieces fall into place, it could be fun....

****TO ALL POSTERS****: The importance of grammar is knowing your sh*t, and not knowing you're sh*t. Just remember that, and everything will work out in the end.

9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Last 3 games KJ has lead off with Yunel hitting 2nd, despite what Ferell was saying earlier about KJ batting 2nd and Yunel 1st. I prefer Yunel 1st and KJ 2nd simply because Yunel puts the ball in play so much, you don't mind KJ's SO's if he can still take a walk and hit for power. If it was reversed you have a lot of opportunities for GIDP with Yunel hitting so many GB's

Rogers might not spend a lot on the roster but damn do they make good Jays commercials. So hyped!!
