Yunel Escobar on 'High Heat'

Post#1 » by Hamyltowne » Fri Mar 23, 2012 5:31 am

I rather like this show. It's titled Clubhouse Confidential. It airs on the MLB Network. You can view it, in the evenings, through StreamTorrent, or wait a few hours for MLB.com to upload clips of segments.

In this clip, Brian Kenney makes the case that Yunel Escobar is "much better" than Jimmy Rollins.

*Of course, that is not news to posters of this forum*

Thank you.

Last week, during the same program, and in the very same segment, Travis Snider was brought up in an analysis of prospects. Granted, Brian Kenny qualifies him as "a post-hype prospect. A former star who has already fizzled." I'll try to find it and post it in a new thread. I suspect it will ride the (tidal) wave of Snider nostalgia.

A suggestion for those allergic to commercials:

Install Adblock* onto Mozilla Firefox. It allows for commercial-free viewing of all video sites. Plus it filters out all advertisements found on web-sites. There is a lot of white-space on each and every web-page I frequent. It's great.

I recommend the add-on as I know, from sometimes using other computers, that MLB.com has a commercial preceding every clip. That is painful.

Thanks for this. Is there an archive on mlb.com where I can watch all of these episodes?
Stay thirsty, my friends

I don't know of an archive, but if you look at the tags underneath the video, and click on the one titled 'Clubhouse Confidential,' it should bring up a search list of all the episodes in chronological order. I'm not sure how far back they go. The show is in its first season, having only made its debut last November.

It's a great program. Be sure to check it out.
