A questionable move, but by all accounts he still has a live arm and he could be an absolute bargain at this price. Also, I read this as the Jays having him locked up for 3 more years, with an option for a 4th. He was already locked down for $600K this year.
I love all this "food on the table stuff". Give me the few million McGowan has made so far and I'm sure I could find a way to feed my family.
