Noticed that also.

He went first to third just before being pulled, so maybe he tweaked something?

i'd be shocked if Anthopolous calls him up this soon. As much as i hated the decision to send him down last year, and break camp without him this spring, we've burned his last option, so you might as well see it through and have him continue to work on things for at least another month or two.

And although it's become popular to **** on Thames, he's been less **** than most of the rest of the lineup

Good... he's earned it with his play. Team needs a spark, and he could be it.

Yeah, didn't expect it. Makes no sense to do it at Thames' expense at this point. Although it's not like Francisco has a real purpose on this team right now.

Thames is one of the very few producing on offense right now. Though we could use a better bench bat at this point.

Not quite. He can go back down, if need be. And then come back up. The option lasts a year.

Yeah, I get that.

My point was he has been down for 20 days, so the option is burned.

The Snider rollercoaster needs to end. Leave him in Vegas for another month, two, three, whatever it needs to be for this club to decide that his next call up is his last, before they actually commit to a sustained period of him being an everyday player, or they decide to move on once and for all.

It would be a colossal **** waste of his last option year to shuttle him back and forth during the year. Which would actually be kind of fitting since this organization has **** his development from the start

The only thing worse than thames being with the club and snider being in the minors would be bringing up snider to share time with thames or putting him in some type of platoon/bench role.

If they bring him up he'd better be an everyday guy.

My solution would be to put Lind in a PH role.

LF/DH: Snider/Thames, 1B: Encarnacion

EE can't play the field. He is simply always going to be a DH. His confidence goes so far down it make his hitting terrible and he can't field.

Let him DH and let him think only about swinging and you'll have a productive player.

I actually thought he looked decent at 1B he is really useful to a team actually a DH that can hit north of .800 OPS and play 3B/1B hope they resign him soon.

An obvious shake up decision, but Thames has four hits in the last two games. Who else does?

Hurt his wrist and is getting an MRI. Nothing to do with the big club.
