I'm not in the clubhouse so I really can't comment on whether or not Vizquel has a right to comment on the staff or not. But I will say this:
There have been suggestins from reporters alluding to Farrel being part of the "non-accountable" attitude in Boston over the past few years that prompted that organizations cleaning of house.
I don't know who to believe in. I'm going to keep my trust in AA and his ability to decide what kind of staff he wants, but I will say my belief in AA is wavering as well. I really dislike last offseason and my patience is running thin.

If this was a playoff team, all the same people complaining about the goofing off and playfullness in the clubhouse would be saying how the team has so much chemistry and so much fun playing the game... blah blah.
Talent wins games - all this "lack of discipline" is just nonsense.
While I agree that we lack the talent to seriously compete for a playoff spot right now, keep in mind we have had some guys clearly having bad years, compared to their career line.

Re: Vizquel critiques Jays coaching staff
I'm not sure if Vizequel's comment is valid or not. To far from the situation to see if it the case.
But one can certainly be accountable and professional, while "goofing off" and staying loose. So I am not sure how this aspect of Omar, makes his comment have any less value.
But ultimately, "lack of accountability" is one of those things that seems to come up with teams where the real issue is lack of talent .. or lack of current ability.
Talented teams have all the fundamentals, all the simple positive plays are blown up. Less able teams, all the negative plays are blown up.

I dont blame Omar but at least the team has to do their part to step up and make a few things happen.
